Inverse scattering for high-resolution interferometric microscopy.

We extend the applicability of inverse scattering for optical coherence tomography (OCT) to the case of high numerical aperture focusing optics. We include the effects of tight focusing so that the approach is applicable to any interferometric microscopy method. The applicability to modalities, such as OCT and optical coherence microscopy, enables computed reconstruction of three-dimensional vo...

Inverse scattering without phase information

We report on nonuniqueness, uniqueness and reconstruction results in quantum mechanical and acoustic inverse scattering without phase information. We are motivated by recent and very essential progress in this domain. This paper is an extended version of the talk given at Séminaire Laurent Schwartz on March 31, 2015.

A Novel Phase Retrieval Approach for Elec- Tromagnetic Inverse Scattering Problem with Intensity-only Data

To measure the phase of signal with very high working frequency such as THz, and optics band is still a challenging problem. In this paper, based on the relationship between radiating current and measured intensity of electrical field a novel phase retrieval algorithm has been developed. As opposed to the existing approaches of phase retrieval where usually the Fourier coefficients of measured ...

Single-shot Full-field reflection phase microscopy

We present a full-field reflection phase microscope that combines low-coherence interferometry and off-axis digital holographic microscopy (DHM). The reflection-based DHM provides highly sensitive and a single-shot imaging of cellular dynamics while the use of low coherence source provides a depth-selective measurement. The setup uniquely uses a diffraction grating in the reference arm to gener...

Plasmonic metal scattering immunoassay by total internal reflection scattering microscopy with nanoscale lateral resolution.

Immunoassays on nanopatterned chips through TIRS detection based on reconstructing the three dimensional position provided a nanoscale accuracy of the lateral resolution by using the z-stage controller in the spatial range up to 10 nm. This method offers highly accurate and sensitive quantification with the zeptomolar (∼10(-21) M) detection of proteins.
